Elizabeth is a Registered Psychologist. She holds a Master of Health Science from the University of Sydney. Elizabeth is registered to provide psychological services through Medicare Australia.
Elizabeth is a specialist in Maternal and Relationship Psychology, Couples & Marital Therapy, and Family concerns. Elizabeth has personally trained with relationship experts Drs John and Julie Gottman at The Gottman Institute in Seattle, USA. She is Facilitator of The Circle of Security Parenting Program and 123 Magic & Emotion Coaching. She is a Champion and service provider for Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA). She also works with adolescents and adults seeking treatment for anxiety, depression/mood, post traumatic stress, drug and alcohol, body image, workplace and other general concerns.She combines a variety of approaches to tailer individual treatment plans, including psychodynamic and systemic psychotherapy, principles of attachment theory, cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, schema therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Elizabeth 's passion for psychology has seen her work in a variety of settings including the Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Children's Hospital, The Australian Performing Arts Grammar School, Universities and Government Agencies. She now works solely in Private Practice.
Elizabeth provides individual and couples psychological services, weekend intensive couples therapy, workshops, retreats and seminars. She regularly presents on the topic of "Managing Perinatal Distress Through Strengthening The Couples Bond". She has been working a research project since 2014 exploring maternal psychology and relationships in family life.
Elizabeth lives in Gladesville with her two boys and husband. Elizabeth's husband is also trained in couples therapy and works with her on a number of her projects.
A standard consultation runs for 60 minutes including admin time. Sessions are held in Gladesville and Neutral Bay.
